Introduction

GeoLeader has developed all the technical capabilities to carry out reservoir studies, using a multi-disciplinary approach and advanced geoscience software applications.

Such studies comprise seismic and geologic interpretation, integrated reservoir modelling, reservoir characterisation, uncertainty analysis with probabilistic methods, basic engineering, dynamic simulation of all recovery processes, development planning and field management.

GeoLeader can also propose focused studies in complement to COMPANY workflow wherever it could add value, and develop innovative solutions to some of the most challenging problems in the exploration and production of hydro-carbon reservoirs.

The studies can be proposed as 7 standard project types, according to client objectives and time schedule:

Technical audits and support to specific projects:due to COMPANY working picks in the E&P area, and having in consideration the GeoLeader, technical human resources, it is possible to include in the scope of this service agreement some tasks that although could be considered as routine, they have a good impact in the quality of the final projects. Amongst them GeoLeader can specify seismic acquisition, seismic processing, seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization, reservoir studies, dynamic simulation, audit of reserves, field development plans and economical analysis of projects.

Feasibility Study: this type of study is used to validate on a limited area a proposed solution for solving a particular problem. It develops a proof of concept approach and delivers all the elements needed to decide on extending the study to the full field or other areas. This type of project takes from one to three months to complete depending on the particular technology to be evaluated.

Operational Project: this type of project develops a solution at the reservoir or field scale and impacts directly the exploration/development strategy or the management of the field. A detailed scope of work is established first in close co-operation with the client and the project is charged on a task basis according to our standard rates which are listed below. As an option , implementation on the field of the results of the study, can also be proposed.
